Hot tapping or pressure tapping is a method of connecting to an existing pipe or pressure vessel without interrupting or draining that section of the pipe or vessel. This means that the line or tank can continue to operate during maintenance or conversion operations.
Horizontal excavation (HDD) is a trenchless method of exchanging pipes underground and laying them. Suitable for different geological formations, HDD covers various intersections such as roads, highways, runways, hills, seas, and rivers.
Line outages or blockages are a means of isolating a plumbing system and providing a cutoff in the absence of anything. This process acts as a control or temporary valve that can be removed after a permanent change or valve replacement / addition.
